Credit Card Cash Back: How to Earn Thousands Per Year

• Travel portals: Some cards (Amazon Prime Visa, Costco Anywhere) offer higher rates through their respective travel portals, not included in general calculations.
• Card-specific perks: Benefits like purchase protection, extended warranties, and lounge access aren't factored in.
• Redemption restrictions: Some cards (e.g., Costco) issue rewards annually as a certificate.

Why no travel cards? Travel rewards cards are intentionally excluded. They're more complex, often lock you into specific booking portals, and require more effort to maximize value. The goal of this tool is to help you find the simplest cash back setup possible. Travel cards can be great if you travel frequently and want to put in the work, but that's a different optimization.
